Questions before I buy
Yes. Every single one of our mattresses complies with UK fire regulations BS7177 and are categorised as low hazard, for domestic use. So, you can sleep easy!
We a proud that the foam we use in our mattresses DOES NOT contain the recent defective ingredients supplied by BASF’s Ludwigshafen factory, which has affected other manufacturers.
The maximum weight per person is 20 stone (127kg).
When someone moves during the night, something called kinetic energy is generated. On a bog-standard mattress, that energy is transferred through the mattress and can disturb your partner.
Mammoth’s PostureCell™ technology absorbs that kinetic energy, minimising any disturbance and allowing you both to sleep soundly.
Quite the opposite! Mammoth’s Medical Grade™ Foam is not temperature sensitive and doesn’t retain heat like memory foam. It has been specifically designed with cooling airflow channels to help you stay at the optimum temperature for sleep. We’ve thought of everything!
Ours is a no-questions-asked warranty. If your mattress fails within 10 years because of a manufacturing fault, we’ll take it away and deliver a brand new one for you. Could you ask for anything more?
That’s how confident we are that your mattress will last. You’re covered for flaws introduced in the manufacturing process, even in the cover. However, wear and tear and damage done whilst moving house (for example) are not covered.
Orders and deliveries
As a premium product, deliveries are between 2 and 4 weeks, although we always do our best to speed this up.
Your mattress will be delivered on a dedicated 2 man, white glove service. This means it will be taken to your room of choice and the packaging will be taken away.
This is a matter to discuss with your courier. Try using your courier’s tracking service to find out if that’s an option.
Unfortunately, we do need a signature to guarantee the safe delivery of your mattress. After all, we’d hate for anything to happen to it before you get a chance to lie down and really sample its delights.
We’ll be really sorry to hear about your cancellation, but these things happen. Simply get in touch with one of our team so we can stop the order and get your money back to you.
We’ll let you know the contact details of your courier once we’ve dispatched your order.
You’ll receive tracking details from us once your order is on its way to you. Simply access the courier’s tracking system, enter your details and you’ll be able to see the progress of your order. Exciting.
If you aren’t in when your mattress arrives, the courier will try to deliver again another time. They’ll put a card through your door letting you know how to get in contact and you can arrange another time, more suitable for everyone.
Questions After I've Ordered
Setting Up Your Mattress
We don’t roll or fold our mattresses so once you’ve unwrapped it, it’s good and ready to go. No waiting around and no need to lose any more sleep.
Ideally, sleep on your new Mammoth for 30 nights to get used to the difference it makes. If you’re still not happy, contact our team to talk about the next step.
Remember that new car smell? Well your Mammoth might have a new mattress smell too. But don’t worry, it will fade once you start using it night after night. Any smell is absolutely normal and totally safe.
Of course. Simply remove the washable integrated mattress protector, and launder at 40ºc. Please note the protector should never be tumble dried as this will damage it.
It’s not essential, but if you feel like you would prefer to use one, go ahead.
Yes, that’s no problem at all. But you’ll find that, once you’re settled in bed, your Mammoth will keep you at the optimum temperature for a restful night’s sleep, night after night.
We’ve all dreaded that annual job of flipping the mattress. But the good news is, there’s no need with the Mammoth. We recommend that you simply rotate the mattress regularly to ensure even usage.
